Further heavy rainfall is expected into Sunday morning, 24 November 2024. River levels are expected to rise again as a result of this rainfall, but are not expected to peak as high. Areas most at risk include Brearley to Luddenden Foot including Station Road in Brearley, Ellen Royd Bridge, Station Road and Mill Stream Drive in Luddenden Foot. Levels at Brearley are forecast to peak mid-morning today. Area of concern includes the Tenterfields Business Estate. We are monitoring the situation closely. Whilst further showers are forecast throughout today, 10/02/20, we do not expect these to cause significant impacts to river levels, which should continue to fall. River levels peaked at 13:00 on Sunday 09/02/2020 and have been falling slowly through this afternoon. Levels are forecast to continue falling through Sunday evening and Monday morning. This warning currently remains in force as levels are still high. The area most at risk is Tenterfields Business Estate. High winds and further showers are forecast this evening and into Monday, 10/02/2020, but we do not anticipate any significant river response.
